Last Updated: June 10, 2026

This Disclaimer applies to the Solar Power Remote Monitoring System (including hardware equipment, applications, and cloud services, hereinafter referred to as "the System") provided by our Company. Please read the following terms carefully before using the System.

I. General Use and System Malfunctions

The System has been designed and manufactured in compliance with relevant safety standards; however, all electronic equipment carries an inherent risk of malfunction. Within the warranty period, the Company will provide reasonable repair or replacement services in accordance with the warranty terms. Upon expiration of the warranty period, the Company shall not be held liable, to the maximum extent permitted by law, for any losses resulting from system malfunctions, operational abnormalities, or data errors.

II. System Update Mechanism and Associated Risks

The System features a built-in automatic update mechanism that periodically deploys firmware and software updates to patch known vulnerabilities, enhance security, and improve system stability. No manual operation by the user is required.

However, the following circumstances may prevent updates from completing successfully, thereby resulting in system abnormalities or security risks:

  • Interruption or instability of the equipment's network connection, causing the update download to fail.

  • The user manually disabling the automatic update function.

  • Disruption of the equipment's power supply during the update process.

  • Firewalls or network policies in the installation environment blocking connection to the update servers.

The Company shall not be held liable for any accidents, data loss, or property damage resulting from failed updates due to the aforementioned circumstances. If the equipment does not receive update notifications for an extended period, please contact our customer service to verify the status of the equipment.

III. User Operations and Environmental Factors

The Company shall not be held liable under warranty or for compensation for malfunctions or damages caused by the following:

  • Improper Operation: Unauthorized modification of equipment settings, installation of non-official firmware, or use of the System in a manner inconsistent with the user manual.

  • Incompatible Installation Environment: Installation in locations that do not meet the environmental conditions (such as temperature, humidity, and voltage) specified in the product datasheets.

  • Power Abnormalities: Damage to equipment or data corruption caused by power surges, instantaneous power outages, or unstable power supply (users are strongly advised to configure their own UPS or surge protection devices).

  • Third-Party Integration: Malfunctions caused by version discrepancies or compatibility issues arising from integration with non-original accessories, third-party equipment, or external platforms.

IV. Data Security Risks Prior to Equipment Disposal, Resale, or Repair

During the operation of the System, the following sensitive information may be stored:

  • Wi-Fi account credentials and passwords

  • User account information and cloud access tokens

  • Solar power system configuration parameters

  • Historical power generation and consumption data

  • Bound device lists

If the aforementioned information is not completely erased, there is a risk of personal data leakage or unauthorized system access under the following scenarios:

Scenario
Potential Risks

Equipment Disposal

Third parties acquiring the equipment may read residual account information and historical data.

Resale or Gift

New users may access the original user's account or home network via residual credentials.

Repair or Temporary Transfer

Maintenance personnel or third parties may come into contact with personal data and system settings.

Equipment Theft

Residual credentials may be exploited to access the remote monitoring account or infiltrate the internal network.

Equipment Transfer at Enterprise Sites

If batch-deployed equipment is not cleared, previous user data may be leaked to the new management entity.

The Company shall not be held liable for any losses incurred due to the user's failure to contact the official support team to perform a proper data erasure procedure.

V. Secure Termination of Use Procedure

To ensure the complete erasure of data, users must not attempt to reset the equipment on their own. The Company provides a dedicated Secure Termination Service assisted by professionals to ensure that all local and cloud data are thoroughly removed.

Prior to disposing of, reselling, sending for repair, or transferring the equipment, please contact our customer service to initiate the termination process:
